Use Technology to Upend Education

I couldn't resist sending this article.. "Use Technology to Upend Education", by Justin Reich.* This short article sends a powerful message about how technology should (and should not) be used in classrooms.  It's bigger than simply having the 'stuff', or automating tasks and testing. Technology should be transforming teaching and learning, not supporting old methodology or our current educational system based on TESTING!!!.  Read about "creative agency" classrooms... This is a must read and I welcome COMMENTS!!!

He also writes the EdTech Researcher blog on edweek.org.)

  1. Technology is greatly enhancing and enabling classroom learning. http://netclick.me is a student response system that allows for educators and students to share presentation slides during lectures at the same time, allowing for quicker learning as students can indicate to the professor what they don't understand on the slide.

Existing content is also re-usable and the system works with any mobile device or WiFi gadget.
